Painting Retreats in Peñaflor, Andalusia, Spain
Come spoil yourself in the healing nature and environment of Andalusia in southern Spain. With small classes limited to six students, healthy home-made mediterranean cuisine from chef Timothy White, lots of creative time and plush accomodations, this is a great opportunity to return to what is important in life.
Schedule
Arrive on Saturday afternoon, room check-in from 3pm-6pm. Welcome dinner Saturday evening starting at 7pm. Sunday-Friday are six full days of creative arts immersion and delicious food. Full-day excursion to Córdoba or Sevilla, then depart on Sunday after breakfast, check-out is before noon.
All art materials are provided, so let yourself dive into a week of color, creativity, delicious food and new friends. You will also have the opportunity to experience the local culture, and soak up the warm lifestyle and delicious cuisine of Andalusia, Spain.
What's Included
- 8 nights full accommodations.
- 6 full days of painting & inspiration, Sunday through Friday (3+ hours in the morning, and 3-4 hours in the afternoon).
- 6 gourmet dinners (minimum 3 courses, with wine), made with fresh local ingredients (except two evenings, when students dine on their own).
- 6 lunches with wine and dessert.
- Breakfast each morning with fresh breads, fruit & yogurt.
- Instruction and all materials and supplies are furnished for six full days of painting.
- Sightseeing day in Sevilla or Córdoba.
- Pick-up & drop-off at our local train or bus station in Algeciras.

Opening for retreats starting in September 2026, our palacio is undergoing extensive rennovation and restoration to provide an authentic Andalusian experience in the heart of historic Peñaflor. A beautiful 100 year old home which will also become an art center, gallery, museum and teaching facility in the campo between Sevilla and Córdoba.

Significant Others and non-participating Guests
If you would like to bring someone with you but they will not be attending the class, the supplement for that person is 695€ on top of the private room rate. This includes private accommodations for the two of you plus breakfast each morning and dinner 5 of the evenings. (Lunches are not included for non-participating guests, as the lunchtime is a continuation of the workshop experience.)
Refunds
If you need to cancel your participation in the class for any reason, a 90% refund will be credited if we are notified at least 90 days before the start of class, 50% if notified at least 45 days before class, and no refund if notified less than 45 days before class.
